That’s why I aim to inspire change, not only on International Rescue Cat Day but every day, by encouraging spaying and neutering programs to combat overpopulation.
Another essential part of my Cat Rescuer Journey is raising awareness about how rescue cats can become Emotional Support Animals (ESAs). The deep bond between humans and cats is life-changing, proving that rescue cats not only need saving but also have the power to heal and comfort those who adopt them.
Looking at successful animal rescue advocacy efforts, such as Big Cat Rescue, we see major progress. Legislative wins, like the Big Cat Public Safety Act, show that change is possible when cat rescuers, volunteers, and advocates unite for a common cause.
